Before my downward spiral into meltitude, I

It is the Print o' the Wave stole by Eunny Jang. I love how straight forward and easy this lace pattern is! It's from some wool my grandmother gave me - it was given with the agreement that I'd knit her a shawl. I'm hoping to have this done by her birthday in August - this is the product of only a few hours, but at the rate I'm currently going...
Ugh.
I will have to resume knitting at some point. There will be more baby knits coming up - my cousin just had a son (congrats!) - and I'm thinking of some nice cotton tops - such as Ophelia, Megathy (ravelry link), Dayflower Camisole, Beaded Cami...
Anything to cool me off.... hey - maybe I'll knit myself a itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka-dot thing and run about town in it. HA HA HAHAAAAAA. Seriously though. Any votes? Anyone made these tops yet? :D

I unfortunately have no advice to give on summer knits -- San Francisco boasts freezing cold weather all freakin' year long. :)
That Print O' the Wave is looking gorgeous!
I've *just* finished a knitted tube top (probably the FO post will go up in a couple days, I need photos first) and I like summer knits. But I think that has a lot to do with my seriously air conditioned basement apartment (I don't have any control over the thermostat.
Your print o' the wave stole looks gorgeous so far!

The stole is looking beautiful!
If we didn't have the A/C on, the kids would be miserable which in turns make us even more miserable!
i hate the air too. i complain to my husband that i want to turn it off.....all day. and then at night i am secretly in heaven when i crawl into bed and need the down comforter. :)
