I must admit - this earlier daylight savings time shift has me a bit... shifted. It feels like it should be summer already, doesn't it?
*sigh*
I have been chomping at the bit to get my garden done.... and so despite Colorado's tendency towards spring snowstorms, we built our garden and planted it.
Tomatoes, peppers, basil, spinach, broccoli, strawberries, thyme.... yummmmmm. I cannot WAIT for all this to grow up. We also planted a raspberry bush in a whiskey barrel, and some other, more flowery plants to complement. So exciting! Our new landscaping is also starting to flourish - plants are coming up all over the place. I can't wait to see it all put together - it's like my birthday every day!
Despite my deep conviction that it should be sunny every day, it is not. It has been raining off and on, some snow (which I still love, because it melts the next day) and today is wet and dreary. Not that that's bad - because it has allowed me time to work on some nice spring garments - well, only one really - but I'm very excited about it....
please to welcome Cherry. :D

Welcome, Cherry! :) I love the color you chose -- it's going to be gorgeous.
Your garden looks and sounds AMAZING! Just think of all that fresh produce. I'm so jealous (aside from having a completely black thumb, I also have no yard in which to plant things :( ) -- you must share more pics when things grow in!
Your garden looks beautiful! I can't wait to put one in myself, but at this point it may have to wait until next year. I love the stone wall - did you guys do it?
Cherry is a great sweater - can't wait to see yours.
Cherry looks great so far - so does your garden! Me and gardening don't mix - too many dead plants in the end!
Your garden is looking gerat! I love growing tomatoes, but the raccoons in my neighbourhood tend to get them before the people do. And your Cherry is looking gorgeous so far- I LOVE the colour you chose.
